SPIRITUAL DISEASE AND SPIRITUAL NEED

Image
As time goes by and as a Paranormal Investigator and as a Christian, I witness the world growing darker, more encompassed by evil, killings, wars, destruction and madness. In the midst of that madness and obviously growing darkness are the paranormal investigators, demonologists, exorcists, and spiritualists of all kinds.  What I am writing are my views, and yes they are now as much as my religious views as they are my paranormal views.  These views seem to be coming together to reveal to me, personally, a bigger picture. As a paranormal researcher, my contribution comes by sharing my experiences and what I have learned from my own studies.  Yes, the world can be filled with dark entities and spirits, and the world can create an army of exorcists and so called paranormal investigators to detect the issues and collect the data.   Do you see it?  Do you see the day when the paranormal investigator becomes a doctor....to diagnose the paranormal, the spiritualist connect

HALLOWEEN VACATION 2013

Image
My cat Khan enchanted by the flames in the glass jack-o-lanterns Sometimes in the chaos of life, work and even play, a person must take a vacation.  One of my favorite times for vacation, where one just stays home and enjoys the leisure of watching old classic horror movies, contemporary horrors and thrilling ghost stories, relaxing, observing the leaves changing color is Halloween week.  There is something about Halloween which always speaks to the child in me. As a child I remember dressing up for a special Halloween dress up at the elementary school, a couple blocks from where I grew up.  There, all the children of the class would line up, single file, and then walk through every classroom.  It is one memory which stands out.  I remember that a woman dressed up as a witch, with a long pointy nose and green skin and a talk black witches hat and black gown lead the way.  She had a broom made of sticks and resembled the wicked witch in Wizard of Oz. I remember that long

DINING AT COOKING GREEK RESTAURANT

Image
TILAPIA FILET OVER RICE PILAF SERVED WITH SAUTEED GREEN BEANS, ONION AND TOMATO AND A SIDE OF PITA BREAD~ at Carmel's Cooking Greek Restaurant This was a wonderful delight.  I had long lived in Carmel, since January 2006.  I knew I needed to get out and find something new for me.  I pass this restaurant almost daily and nightly.  It's a great spot for all those who live in Carmel. I was met with wonderful customer service from a young lady who was extremely amiable and pleasant.  She was very courteous and prompt with taking my order and asking if I needed anything. Imagine my surprise to see this beautifully delicious platter come to me as a beautiful plate of color.  The appearance and smell was vibrant and aromatic of Greek seasoned delights.  The best part was the tomatoes and tomato sauce.  It was a wonderfully perfect sauce for sauteed crispy green beans. The dining was pleasant and clean.  Flowers added a nice touch to the atmosphere. I think the bri

FAMILY TRIP

Image
TENNESSEE LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN My family had a wonderful time to take a trip to Kimball, Jasper, South Pittsburg and Chattanooga Tennessee.  Wonderful trip!  The mountains there are part of the Cumberland mountain plateau.  Such beautiful mountains.  I have always been drawn to the mountains of that area.  Covenant College can be seen from far far away as we approached Chattanooga.   The trip to Kimball was to see my Aunt Violet and Uncle Kenneth.  We did take a trip to Jasper, just a few miles away to have a large dinner with Lisa, Doug, Ali, My mother, Aunt Violet, Uncle Kenneth, my cousin Ronnie and my daughter Marlana.   May we never forget what connects us to this place and why it holds such a warm place in our hearts.  It not only reminds us of where my mother came from but of our father, Roger Dale Brock, who adopted the place as his home for a time and always brought us back there every year.   Jasper Tennessee Mountains Mountain of Jasper T

EITHER GOD, SATAN, ANGELS, DEMONS, HEAVEN AND HELL EXIST OR THEY DO NOT!

Image
I find it amazing when religious people or even spiritualists claim that 99.99% of all claims of demonic activity is unfounded and that the demonic is rare.  Ridiculous yet, so funny.  I saw so much evidence of the demonic as a child at so many different places to convince me that we are at the mercy of those who try to deceive us with LIES that I needed to get the facts on my own....and to get my own direction and discover the truth.    I find it ridiculous that this is what the spiritual world has been reduced to.  The spiritual realm not only includes the souls of all living things but also 1/3 of the heavenly hosts which fell from God's Grace.  Seeing as how God created a multitude of angels for HIS Praise one must not discount the great multitude of demons which transferred to Earth when 1/3 of the multitude had fallen cursed into the darkness realm of the Earth. The spiritual realm is made up of all of God's creatures whether they are Earth Based or Heavenly.  Most

EVENING IN CARMEL, INDIANA. MAY

Image
Evening sky in Carmel Indiana 2013 It has been awhile since I visited my blog.  I thought I'd take a moment to update it.  I've been extremely busy at work and in my life as I take classes for a business degree, and taking trips with my family.  I even bought a bicycle and started a diet in hopes to lose about 40 pounds.  So, this is the reason for my absence. I have also been busy with making photographs and graphics for my website. The most exciting thing that me and my family are awaiting is the beginning of Season 3 Paranormal Witness on Syfy Channel.  Last year, May 2012 producers visited from London England's Raw Television, which produce Paranormal Witness for Syfy, interview me and my family for an hour long episode for their show.  We enjoyed our time with them as they made it enjoyable for us to calmly recall some pretty harrowing and haunted moments of our lives at 2220 N. Armstrong Kokomo Indiana. Our lives will never be the same because of what happe

GRANDMA, YOU WILL BE MISSED

Image
Mary Ellen Glass My beautiful grandmother 3/19/29 - 3/22/13 R.I.P. I Love You Forever Grandma As I prepare for the viewing and the funeral service I cannot help but feel a tinge of nervousness.  A tension is visiting me and will not leave me until the cemetery service has ended and I am home.  I have never enjoyed burying any of my family.  However sad and anxiety building it is, I will give my homage, respect and grieving for my beautiful grandmother, Mary Ellen Glass.   Back in the old days I remember spending the night with my grandmother at her house.  As I lived most of my young childhood abiding by strict rules and uncertain of paths I would be permitted to take, living by religious standards and my parents restrictions, it would be grandma who would lend to and encourage my liberty and freedom to express my artistic and creative growth.  My grandmother was interested in my artistic ability long before there even really was a talent.  I feel I developed such an

FAMILIAR PATH

Image
FAMILIAR PATH This is a poem about realization of the path one has been treading in naivety, with eyes looming large believing they were actually seeing something grand and wonderful, shiny and new, obtainable.  Deceit sometimes reveals itself to others when they obtain self growth beyond the ability to be controlled by that deceitful or controlling, manipulative person.  Familiar Path describes several people to me.  However, it was written with one person in mind.  It could still describe a great deal many people.  I like to identify with people out there who have been lied to or taken advantage of.  It is true, we all sometimes fall prey to those who would take advantage of the weak or naive.  Sometimes, it takes such disadvantage for that person to wake up and realize the realities of their path for which they have tread down.  I enjoyed writing this poem because I was able to reach deep inside my heart and put poetic words to my feelings at that time.   FAMILIAR PAT

THE SUN'S KISS

Image
This is a poem I wrote back in 2007 about a man who had a large impact on my life beyond my capability or willingness to see.  Back then my world seemed so much brighter on the narrow vision path.  I couldn't see what was to be on either side of me or behind me.  However, I had a wonderful view of what I thought was ahead of me.  Sometimes a person can wield so much power over the foolish and naivety of others.  This was a simple poem for that man.  Sometimes what appears to be wonderful, fresh and new can really be the path to ruin at the hand of someone else's control.  Even when something appears as positive, it doesn't mean that it is really so.  This is really a poem of what seems to be pure, simple, honest and true....at least what it was manipulated and designed to appear to me at that time.  I love this poem because it reflected a true state of my willingness to see a brighter future even if what I was seeing was a picture painted by a dishonest individual.  I

PHOTO BIOGRAPHY: LANA HUNT OF CARMEL

Image
LANA HUNT,  (LANA BROCK) 1970 ON GRANDPA'S LAP DURING FAMILY PHOTO That is me and my twin sister Lisa sitting on Grandma and Grandpa's laps.  I am on Grandpa's lap.  I remember this photo.  I was not at all happy that I did not get to sit on Grandma's lap.  My father is holding my sister Mary.  I believe she was only  2 and Lisa and I were about 3.  This photo was likely taken in 1970.  Look at that.  You can tell all my young uncles had real tie knots as none of them look like the clip on.   LANA HUNT, BACK IN 1973, I WAS LANA BROCK, AND WEARING RED CHECKED DRESS All I can say is wow.  Look at the 70's clothes and the hair.  Awesome.  My dad is wearing a radical blue and white shirt with a white tie.  Mom has her hair curled and teased and sprayed with hairspray and all of us in red, white, and blue.  Amazing.  I am the twin standing on the back row in a red checkered dress. Lisa is in blue.    LANA HUNT AND SCOTT HUNT ENGAGEM

JANUARY SUMMER

Image
It was January 12th, 2013.  It is the middle of winter.  However, it felt as if it was a late spring day.  Wonderful.  I took my camera, while on my walk around the track and onto the trail into Meadow Lark Park.  It was a wonderful day.  Great sunshine.  Also, I took advantage of the spring-like weather to go outside for some exercise.  What a wonderful time to go for a jog or take a long walk.  For me, it's always interesting to bring the camera along.  Never know what I might find.   This was an interesting shot.  I was walking through the woods on the gravel path the went around the pond. There were trees on both sides of me.  But these trees were surrounded by water, as the snow had just melted. There was a thin layer of ice STILL on the pond.  It was over 60 degrees outside....the sun was shining brightly and it was pleasantly warm.  Lovely capture of this ice on such a beautiful day. I was probably more fascinated at the small woven branches s
